Your 14-day right to cancel

If you buy from Denim Junction online in the UK, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason. This right comes from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 in the UK.

  • The 14 days start the day after you receive your order. If your order arrives in more than one delivery, they start the day after the last item arrives.
  • Once you have told us you are cancelling, you have a further 14 days to send the items back.
  • We refund you within 14 days of receiving the items back, or of receiving proof that you have sent them, whichever is sooner.
  • Your refund includes the standard delivery charge you paid on the original order. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we refund the standard rate only.
  • We refund to the original payment method. We do not charge a fee for the refund.

You can try items on as you would in a shop. If items come back worn, washed, damaged or with tags removed, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

How to cancel and return an item

  1. Tell us you want to cancel through our contact page, quoting your order number. A clear statement is enough; you do not need to use a form.
  2. Pack the items securely, with the tags still attached where possible.
  3. Send them back within 14 days of telling us. We recommend a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.

Unless the item is faulty or not as described, you pay the cost of sending it back to us.

Faulty or incorrect items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, you can reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a refund if that is not possible. We cover the cost of returning faulty or incorrect items. These rights are in addition to your 14-day right to cancel.

Exchanges

Need a different size? Return the original item for a refund under your 14-day right and place a new order for the size you want. Our size guides on each product page show UK and EU measurements.

Items we cannot accept back

The 14-day right to cancel does not apply to items that have been personalised or made to your own measurements (for example, custom-sized orders), unless they are faulty.
